From the inside out, Uneka literally built the packaging into the product, and pushed the limits of pulp engineering in the process.

Thalmic Labs Myo

Designed by Thalmic Labs, Myo is gesture control armband that lets users wirelessly control technology with hand gestures and motion. In effort to create packaging that emulated the product, Uneka sought to combine form and functionality.

Our goal was to create a design that used minimal material but give maximum visibility. The clear top window displays the product from all angles, while the interior pulp casing holds it firmly in place, interlocking precisely with the design of the band itself. Removing the top unlocks and releases the Myo from display mode, allowing the buyer to slip it right onto their arm.
