Munchkin develops innovative, modern, and credible products for babies and children. When designing packaging for baby safety gates, Vibe and Luna, Munchkin wanted to explore an elevated “look” that emulated the existing brand but appealed to a parental demographic and families that appreciated a modern home aesthetic.

The structure is a simple, corrugate box with litho-lamination and metallic pantones. The graphic design is a subtle departure from multicolor Munchkin branding. The monochromatic color palette and custom logo appeals to the target audience. The back of the box features large, lifestyle imagery of the product and an adhesive label that indicates which colorway is in the box. Upon opening the box, the consumer will find a matching quick start guide and custom, pulp tray securing the fully assembled baby gate.
